My solution was to replace the car battery which had suddenly died. Have you noticed that some engine or emission related issues that trigger a yellow check engine light to come on or illuminate on the dashboard of your lexus car. In some cases you need to pull over immediately to prevent damage while in others you merely need to tighten you gas cap next time you stop in order to reset the service engine soon light.
