If it came detached it ll likely need to be replaced because the back plastic clip typically breaks off and won t hold the arm onto the rack anymore. Unloading the top rack first permits any trapped water to fall on the dishes below. This did not help. If your dishwasher is off track it may be due to the ball bearings.

I am unsure what part i need. The top rack spray arm just clips onto the bottom of the upper rack. New racks cost about 80 and up. But you can fix your dishwasher rack in less than an hour and for a fraction of that cost.
